新化草原 / Grasslands in Hsin-Hua

偶然在網路上看到這個地方，離台南市又不遠，於是就跑去找了。新化草原在虎頭埤附近，小徑一堆，花了一些時間才找到。
I found this place over Internet. It's not far away Tainan City and near Hu-Tou Pei Scenic Are. However, only a few people know how to go there.




新化草原大部分都位於軍事管制區，是實彈演習場地，所以管制區深鎖的時候，愛惜自己生命，麻煩大家就不要再闖了。而也許是因為演習，部分管制區內的草原被燒成焦黑，但是位於管制區內，就沒有拍了。
Most of Hsin-Hua Grasslands are in a military restricted zone. Live ammunition may be used during maneuvers in the area. Beware of the announcement!




在此呼籲大家有點公德心，使用原有道路，不要如照片中的人。還有一些騎腳踏車的車友，不要亂闖大門深鎖的管制區。

台南二寮日出 / Sunrise in Erliao, Tainan

二寮是南部著名觀賞日出的景點，位於台南縣龍崎鄉，本身位於南北走向低矮的丘陵上，朝東和台南另一著名景點 308 高地對望，岡林溪和草山溪貫穿其中。在兩者之間的低地則是由古亭坑層所構成的惡地地形，但擁有比高雄月世界更茂密的植披。

Erliao is a famous place for it's sunrise. It is located on the west of 308 high and in the meridional direction. Between Erliao and 308 high is a lower badlands composed of mud. There is also two rivers flow through badlands.

也許是此特殊的條件，造成在雨後數天內，低地在清晨時會的山巒層疊、雲霧飄邈的美景，宛如國畫中的夢幻世界。若又碰上可遇不可求的雲層條件，則日出時將是雲霧飄邈，光芒四射，空中點綴著一片片亮麗的雲彩。只可惜迄今本人還沒碰過如此大景。

The sunrise of Erliao has a unusual scene on the conditions of a few days after the rain stopped. The sunlight pass through the fog and create incredible beams. If there are some beautiful clouds in sky, you will see a fairy world. Unfortunately, I have never seen it.

錐麓古道 (下) / Jhuilu Trail (2/2)

休息片刻，享用午餐之後，再度踏上旅程。隨著地勢的變化，逐漸脫離在樹林中上上下下的鬱悶。



抬頭一看，驚見大峭壁。看來離此次的目標越來越近了。

13:00 PM 到達錐鹿斷崖。不過其實由西往東走時，斷崖的界線沒有很明顯。


等一下就是沿著那條小徑繼續往前走。


往西看立霧溪，可以看到細細的中橫。


走到一半往回看，有沒有很恐怖呀？


站在高處看著名的太魯閣峽谷，這才是世界級景觀！

13:40 PM 離開錐鹿斷崖。


最後的一撇。還要找機會再去一次，這次身體太久沒動，腦筋只想著走路，都忘記要構圖。

14:00 PM 抵達巴達岡二號橋。

14:40 PM 抵達巴達岡，毫無遮蔽，決定不看遺跡。

接下來一路都是之字型的下坡，應該有數十個，充滿著完全不人性化的樓梯。


有去過太魯閣的橋，應該對它印象深刻。

15:30 PM 抵達燕子口。

果真太久沒動了，剛開始竟然走到肚子痛，搞的拍照都沒辦法思考，沒有幾張照片可用，看來只好和嘉明湖一同列入＂報復＂清單，擇期再來！

錐麓古道 (上) / Jhuilu Trail (1/2)

錐麓古道位於太魯閣國家公園，屬於合歡越嶺古道的最東段。在日據時期，太魯閣的賽德克族和日本人多次發生衝突，為了討伐賽德克族，日本人開始修建合歡越嶺古道，將原有古道進一步整修拓寬，以便運送重武器以及物資，這即是合歡越嶺古道的前身。

如今，經過歲月的摧殘以及橫貫公路的開通，合歡越嶺古道所剩已經無幾。

錐麓古道的東側入口位於中橫上的燕子口，西側則結束於立霧溪和荖西溪的交會口，全長 10.3 公里，途中經過巴達岡，錐麓斷崖，錐麓駐在所。



位於燕子口的入口，如果看到這個就腳軟的話，勸您三思而後行。


08:00 AM 自荖西溪起登。

一離開溪床就開始陡昇，沿途上上下下。早餐吃泡麵，連續拉了兩次。

08:40 AM 到達台電舊隧道。


沿途都是在樹林裡穿梭，時上時下，但路跡非常明顯，造成忘記開 GPS 紀錄路跡。

09:30 AM 開始有展望，天氣很好。


朝西瞭望，下方可見立霧溪以及中橫公路。



有點登高山的味道，如果背景全都改成高山植物。

11:30 AM 到達錐麓駐在所，僅有一個平台，沒有半點遺跡。


只有一塊空地的錐麓駐在所。照片裡面的殘影不是鬼，沒跟他們講要公開照片，所以保護一下。

裝甲 564 旅開放 / 564th Armoured Brigade

第一次去裝甲旅的基地，管制上比陸航和空軍嚴謹許多。
It is my first time going to visit an Armoured Brigade.

除了常見的靜態展示，裝甲車輛的狂奔和反戰車飛彈的試射也出現在此。
The cross-section of combat vehicle and equipment are on static display to include M109A2, CM-23, TOW, T91... You can also see a M113 moving fast and a ATGM missile launch from M113.


不過這次的展示也透露出陸軍裝備的老舊：M113 已經是老舊的設計，更別提作為主力的 CM11。
Poor equipment. Old M113 and CM11 need to upgrade or replace.




非常寒酸的野戰防空能力，我覺得台灣的環境比較適合發展蘇聯式的野戰防空。核生化作戰能力極低。
Poor AA capability. All unit have a limited capability under NBC conditions.


不過，我覺得開放基地，甚至開放試乘裝甲車，都值得嘉獎。
However, it is a good thing to have activities like this.

感覺好像在拍某大明星一樣，在 DSLR 普及化前，不知是否就是如此？　
It looks like someone important is coming. Did it happen before the DSLR become popular?



出乎意料之外的煙火！竟然從橋上發射。

這是我最喜歡的一張。雖然煙火被切，但是我覺得畫面很協調。
This is my favorite one.



煙火發射的位置一直變來變去，很多畫面就此流逝。
There are two sides. Sometimes come from right, sometimes left and sometimes both.

台南夜景:海安路 Nightspot in Tainan, Taiwan. Part III.

海安路，一條曾經繁榮一時的古街，如今逐漸凋零。
Hai-An Street, an old street. It once was the most prosperous street in Tainan. The legend say it was protected by a dragon. (The dragon is a holy animal in Chinese culture.)

在改建地下街的過程中，它喪失他的魅力。
The process of building an underground street withered the Hai-An.

市政府希望藉由美化，帶回神龍。
Now, the city government try to bring the dragon back.

海安路在哪？
The word means "Where is it?".



美化的一部分，帶來不同的氣息。
A part of beautification. The most part of beautification is between Mincyuon Rd. and Fucian Rd. .


牆，在訴說它的過去。
The old wall tell us a old story.


和它交會的老街。
Another old steet crossed over it.

台南夜景:四草大橋 Nightspot in Tainan, Taiwan. Part II.

四草大橋，位在安北路最西端。亦是一個賞日落的好地點。
The bridge is located on the west of Anbei Rd., Anping District.
It is also a good place to enjoy the sunset.


沒帶角架，星芒大概也拍不出來，所以試試一些有趣的方式。
Those two photos was taken when I didn't bring a tripod. For this reason, I try something else.

台南市生產路台糖花田 / Flowers on Shengchan Rd., Tainan

是時候摟!
It's time.
歷經颱風和低溫，有些沒有很好看。
Because of typhoon and low temperature, some flowers aren't beautiful.....
